Lawyer Who Had Sex With Client in Prison Not Expected to Be Charged

A female lawyer was engaged in "sexual relations" with a client before being interrupted by guards at a Moscow detention center, a news report said.

The incident took place Wednesday after the lawyer had been called to meet with a repeat offender, arrested on suspicion of robbery, television station NTV reported.

"Our officers were made aware that a female lawyer was engaged in sexual relations at a meeting with a client," an unidentified source in law enforcement said.

The lawyer had been in a relationship with her client for the past thirty years, added the source.

While the woman was escorted from the facility in the aftermath of the incident, she is not expected to be charged with any misdemeanor as "the law does not provide a punishments for such actions."
