Moscow Spends Warmest Christmas Since 1910

Wednesday was Moscow's warmest Dec. 25 since 1910, weather monitoring center Fobos said.

"The record of 3.1 degrees Celsius (37.58 degrees Fahrenheit), set in 1910, was shattered today in Moscow. Air temperatures of up to 3.5 degrees Celsius (38.3 degrees Fahrenheit) were registered this afternoon," a weather expert said.

More weather records are expected on Thursday, she said.
