Rail group Transcontainer, which handles nearly half of Russia's container traffic, said Friday that its nine-month net profit rose 8.9 percent, year-on-year, to 4.7 billion rubles ($142 million), while revenues increased 5.3 percent to 28.8 billion rubles.
