Man Wearing Miniskirt and No Undies Detained in Vologda

Police in Vologda have detained a local resident who was walking in the street wearing a short denim skirt, but no underwear.

A local woman informed police Thursday about the man, who was pacing up and down Leningradskaya Ulitsa.

A patrol was sent to apprehend the man, who was taken to the local police station, the Vologda region's police department said Friday.

The man, born in 1981, told police that he only had one set of clothes and that they were being washed.

Realizing that he had run out of cigarettes and alcohol, he could think of no alternative other than to put on his sister's skirt and go to the nearest store.

The police issued the man with a warning before taking him home.
