Naked Woman Tries to Bite Passersby While Screaming 'I Am God!'

Novosibirsk locals were left bewildered after witnessing a hysterical naked woman running along the city's streets while trying to bite passersby, a news report said Wednesday.

The incident occurred near the Marx Square metro station at about 7:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Witnesses said that the naked female was spotted running along the tram lines. She then turned and ran across the road, throwing herself with all her might into the window of a nearby store, Sibnovosti reported.

"There was another girl with her, but she didn't try to stop her. People rushed to photograph her and one man with a camera yelled 'I cast the demons out of you in the name of Jesus!'," a witness wrote on a social networking site.

She then rushed toward people walking on the streets attempting to bite them while screaming, "I am God!" Rosbalt reported.

When police arrived at the scene, they detained the woman and handcuffed her to a kiosk until psychiatrists arrived.

Police are investigating the cause of the woman's behavior.
