RusHydro Reports Loss

State-controlled hydroelectric power producer RusHydro on Friday reported a nine-month net loss of 2.53 billion rubles ($84 million) due to one-off revaluation charges. In the same period a year ago, the company turned a 34.8 billion ruble profit.

Adjusted net profit came in at 13.8 billion rubles, the company said, down 61 percent year on year and below a Reuters poll forecast of 14.8 billion rubles.

Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization declined 33 percent to 39.9 billion rubles, broadly in line with market expectations.
