Transneft Profit Down 29%

Transneft's net profit under International Financial Reporting Standards fell 29 percent year-on-year to 93.2 billion rubles ($2.9 billion) in the first half of 2012, the company said, adding that sales revenue was at 361.293 billion rubles, or 10.9 percent more year on year, Interfax reported.
