Quake Shakes Tajikistan

WASHINGTON — A moderate earthquake of 5.7 magnitude struck near Kulob, Tajikistan, early on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit 100 kilometers north northeast of Kulob at a depth of 10 kilometers, USGS said.
