Egypt Still Dangerous

The Federal Tourism Agency once again called on tour operators and travel agents to exclude Cairo from their destinations in connection with the worsening situation in the Egyptian capital, Interfax reported Tuesday.

The agency warned against travel to several other Egyptian regions as well, adding that if Russians still decide to go on vacation to the Red Sea, it is better to travel in a group.

This comes after demonstrations by Copts in Cairo on Oct. 9 led to clashes with security forces, resulting in 24 deaths and more than 200 injuries.
