Rehab Orders Vodka

A state-owned Siberian rehabilitation center has placed an order for 2,000 bottles of vodka, provoking bloggers to ridicule "Rehab a la Russe."

The Soviet-built Taraskul center in the Tyumen region boasts being a "health resort like no other in the world," according to its web site, and caters to patients with heart, vascular and nervous diseases.

The tender, published on Zakupki.gov.ru, is valued at 249,900 rubles ($9,000) and runs until next Tuesday.
