IBM Creates Telecom Lab

IBM opened the Telecom Solution Lab Russia in Moscow, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

The company used its research center in the city as a basis for the lab. The new lab will be key to partnerships with mobile operators and providing a number of IBM solutions, including cloud computing, IMS services, OSS/BSS systems, infrastructure and security.

The new lab will offer customized solutions to both startups and big companies, IBM Central and Eastern Europe director for communication and cloud computing Kit Lloyd said.
