Russia may increase financial support for Georgia's rebel region of Abkhazia, after the death of its leader in Moscow last week, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told Abkhaz leaders on Thursday.
Putin attended a memorial for Sergei Bagapsh, credited for winning Russian recognition of Abkhazia's independence in 2008.
