Aeroflot received 2.09 billion rubles ($75 million) in net profit in the first quarter of this year, compared with 228.8 million rubles in the fourth quarter of last year, the company reported Tuesday.
Passenger flow grew by 18.8 percent in the first quarter, although that figure is not as positive as the company's 28.5 percent increase for the full year in 2010.
The company received more than 2 billion rubles by Russian accounting standards in additional income from sales of shares in its subsidiaries.
