Kyrgyzstan seeks to join the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the country’s Prime Minister, Almazbek Atambayev, told his counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Monday.
The Central Asian state, which hosts both Russian and U.S. military bases, sees itself “in a unified economic space” with Russia, Atambayev said.
