7,000 PINs Stolen

The Krasnodar branch of Alfa Bank blocked 7,000 plastic cards after fraudsters stole their PIN codes through a cash machine network at a Krasnodar bank, the bank’s press service said Tuesday, Interfax reported.

Alfa Bank did not elaborate on the theft or say whether any money was stolen. But it said it would reissue 7,000 new cards free of charge.
