Another Murder Occurs in Krasnodar Region

A woman was killed and three people, including a 7-year-old girl, were hospitalized with stab wounds in a Tuesday evening attack in the Krasnodar region, which was rocked by the murder of 12 people in a home last month, Interfax reported.

The attack was likely carried out by the unidentified ex-boyfriend of one of the survivors, 23-year-old Yulia Abramenko, said a spokesman for the local branch of the Investigative Committee.

The assailant killed Natalia Yeryomenko, 20, and injured Abramenko’s friend, Andrei Voropayev, 23, as well as her daughter, whose name was withheld. The victims were visiting Abramenko’s house in the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban when the incident took place, the spokesman said.
