$815M for Army Uniforms

More than 25 billion rubles ($815 million) will be spent to provide all military personnel, including students of military colleges, with redesigned uniforms, Interfax reported Wednesday, citing the draft military budget for 2011 to 2013.

The sum also covers sports coveralls for conscripts and military students, a luxury previously unavailable to both categories of personnel, Viktor Ozerov, head of the Federation Council’s Defense Committee, told Interfax.
