$1M Reward in Bombing

North Ossetian authorities announced a reward of $1 million for information on perpetrators of last week’s car suicide bombing in the marketplace of the republic’s capital, Vladikavkaz, Interfax reported Tuesday.

No one has claimed responsibility for Thursday’s blast, which killed 17 people and injured more than 160. The attack, which targeted one of the few predominantly Christian regions of the North Caucasus, is blamed on Islamist militants.
