Export Duties Scrutinized

The government may impose new export duties on nickel and copper, linked to global prices, in December, Economic Development Ministry spokesman Pavel Katkov said Friday.

A government commission will review the formulas for the export duties Sept. 23, Katkov said. The ministry is still discussing the copper export duty formula with the Industry and Trade Ministry, he said.
