Uranium Takeover Cleared

Shareholders of Uranium One, a Canadian producer of the radioactive metal, approved a takeover by Uranium Holding ARMZ, the state-run Russian company said in an e-mailed statement Wednesday.

Shareholders with 92 percent ownership voted in favor of the deal, which will give the Russian company “at least” 51 percent of Uranium One, ARMZ said Tuesday at a meeting in Vancouver, Canada.
