Power Machines Profit Soars

Power Machines increased profit 84 percent in the first half after cutting production costs.

Net income rose to $97.8 million from $53.1 million in the year-earlier period, the Russian equipment maker said Monday in an e-mailed statement. Sales fell 1.5 percent to $711 million.
