China to Build Power Plant

Huadian, a Chinese power company, agreed to build a 20 billion ruble ($655 million) plant in the Yaroslavl region with TGK-2, a generator controlled by Sintez Group, the companies said Friday.

The power plant will have a capacity of 450 to 490 megawatts and will be built by 2013, according to materials distributed to reporters at a signing ceremony. The Chinese company will invest 15 billion rubles.
