Bakiyev’s Brother Arrested

Kyrgyz authorities said Thursday that they had detained a brother of ousted President Kurmanbek Bakiyev on suspicion of involvement in recent violence that killed at least 300 people.

Akhmat Bakiyev was detained in Jalal-Abad late Wednesday.
