The first blast occurred when a device containing the equivalent of 200 grams of TNT went off on Ulitsa Vilgelma Pika outside the Ofitsersky Bank, under the bank chairman's car.
The second explosion took place at the Podvorye restaurant, which had been closed for repairs. The restaurant manager told the police that furniture had been damaged and windows broken.
