COVENTRY, England () -- Dwight Yorke capitalized on a defensive blunder in third minute to give Aston Villa a 1-0 victory over Coventry in the English Premier League.
Yorke's goal Monday came after Coventry midfielder David Rennie, trying to handle Steve Staunton's low pass, lost the ball to Dean Saunders on the edge of the penalty area. The ball bounded left into the path of Andy Townsend, whose perfect cross to the right was met by Yorke's firm header.
