HAAKSBERGEN, Netherlands () -- Djamolidine Abdoujaparov of Uzbekistan has snatched the overall Tour of the Netherlands after the fourth stage.
Abdoujaparov was bracketed on the same overall time as Italian Dario Bottaro after Wednesday's fourth stage, a 30.8 kilometer time trial, but was awarded the leader's orange jersey because the race jury said his aggregate stage times were a fraction of a second faster. He took over the lead from Italian Luca Scinto, awarded the leaders' orange jersey after Russia's Dmitry Konyshev pulled out of the third stage over 100 kilometers from Ede to Haasbergen earlier Wednesday.
