DAMASCUS, Syria -- Syria and Russia have signed military cooperation agreements following four days of talks in the Syrian capital, Russian officials said Thursday. They said the Chief of Staff of Russia's Defense Ministry, General Mikhail Kolisnikov, and his Syrian counterpart Lieutenant General Hikmat Shehabi signed 12 documents dealing with technical military cooperation, related to an agreement signed in Damascus in April.
