Sofia-Moscow Oil Deal

SOFIA () -- Russia, which is Bulgaria's main oil supplier, has agreed to long-term crude oil deliveries until the year 2000, a senior Bulgarian official said Friday.

"Our agreement with Russia will stabilize operations at our refineries," said Belo Belov, general director of Bulgaria's oil trade company Chimimport. "Russia will supply Bulgaria with 5 million tons of oil in 1995 and the successive annual quotas will be decided later."
