MOSCOW () -- Russian crude oil output and exports are likely to hold relatively steady this year, with sales abroad restricted mainly by transport limitations, senior officials and trade sources said Friday.

"We will produce about 310 million tons this year and the volume of exports will be about the same," said Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister Anatoly Shatalov. The State Statistics Committee has estimated 1994 crude oil and gas condensate output at 315.7 million tons, about 10 percent less than in 1993
