SYDNEY, Australia () -- Australia's Brett Ogle upstaged compatriot Greg Norman to grab the halfway lead Friday at the Australian Open.
Ogle carded a second round 68 at a damp Royal Sydney to finish seven under par on 137 after 36 holes, one stroke ahead of fellow Australian Wayne Grady who also shot a 68.
Norman trailed Ogle by seven shots, following Thursday's disappointing first round 74 with an erratic 70 which included seven birdies, three bogies and a double bogey.
