Manley Crack Arrest

HOUSTON () -- Former National Football League star Dexter Manley, banned for life from the league for drug use, was arrested by Houston Police for possession of crack cocaine, a police spokesman said.


Manley, 36, was charged with felony possession and was held on $5,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear Tuesday in a state court.


Manley, a former all-Pro defensive end who left the Washington Redskins in 1989, tested positive for drug use three separate occasions in his career and was banned from the NFL.
