LEEDS, England () -- Leeds captain Gary McAllister celebrated his new contract night by scoring a goal to lead his team to a 2-1 victory over Leicester in the English Premier League.
McAllister, who signed a deal earlier Monday that will keep him with the club through the summer of 1999, netted in the 35th minute against his former team. Mark Blake tied it for Leicester in the 54th minute, but Noel Whelan responded with a winner 13 minutes later.
