WASHINGTON () -- The International Monetary Fund has approved an additional $74 million loan for Uzbekistan and said it hoped to agree on a new economic program that could open the country to additional funding.
The IMF said Wednesday the loan supports a comprehensive economic program for this year designed to cut inflation and aimed at limiting the annual economic decline.
