EBRD Loan to Primorsk

MOSCOW () -- Russia's largest far eastern shipper, Primorsk Shipping Company, gained a $75 million loan this week from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to help purchase a new fleet, according to the EBRD. The company will use the funds to buy four product tankers from the Kherson shipyard in Ukraine, the EBRD said.This week, the EBRD also signed a $10-million loan agreement with the Russian commercial bank Mosbiznesbank. The bank will use the loan to provide medium-term financing for small companies. The loan is part of the $300-million Russia Small Business Fund, set up by G-7 countries to help small and medium enterprises in Rus
