LUGANO, Switzerland () -- A billionaire businessmen was freed late Tuesday, just over 24 hours after he was kidnapped from his office in southern Switzerland. Geo Mantegazza, 67, was in "satisfactory'' condition after his ordeal, police said.
In a brief statement, Ticino cantonal (state) police said details would be released Wednesday. Officials refused to give information on whether the kidnappers had been captured or whether any sort of ransom had been paid.
