Bosnia Hopes for Ties

MOSCOW ) -- Bosnian Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic said Tuesday he hoped that Russia would soon establish a diplomatic presence in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo.


"I hope that we shall soon have the Russian representative in Sarajevo these days," Silajdzic told reporters after talks with Foreign Minister Andrei Kozyrev.


"That is what we agreed when we established our diplomatic relations in February," he added.


Silajdzic met Kozyrev a day after Russia pledged to restore vital supplies of natural gas to Sarajevo.
