Aussie's Secret Weapon

BRISBANE, Australia () -- Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne on Wednesday said he has been working on several new deliveries he hopes to unveil when the first test of the five-test Ashes series starts on Friday at the Gabba Ground.


"I've been mucking around with three or four balls in the nets to try something different,'' Warne said. But he declined to reveal exactly which new tricks he has up his sleeve.


In Johannesburg, Charles Fortune, South Africa's best-loved cricket commentator, died Tuesday at the age of 89.
