SYDNEY () -- Robert Allenby captured the Australian Open title despite a series of blunders over the closing holes.
Allenby, 23, dropped five shots over the final five holes but hung on to defeat fellow Australian Brett Ogle by one shot at Royal Sydney on Sunday. Ogle, who led overnight by two shots, also finished woefully, dropping three strokes in the final four holes.
