A Seminar Puts Focus On Finance

The British company. International Trade and Exhibitions Ltd. , is sponsoring a financial seminar Oct. 29 and 30.


Financial Projects-92 is expected to attract participants from over 100 foreign companies, investment firms and consultancy agencies.


On the Russian side, over 30 lectures are scheduled by leading representatives of Russian industry and commerce.


Topics will include law, finance, and the practical aspects of investment in Russia. Others participating will include banking practices, investment projects, prices and paper currencies. Western bankers and investment companies are scheduled to participate.


Place: Development Institute of Moscow.


On Oct. 22, Informatika-92 will open, featuring computer and copying firms from Italy, Japan, the U. S. and Germany.


Topics of Interest: programming and networking, microfilm technology, copiers and automated retail technology.


Place: Moscow Expocentre, Pavilion No. 2. Hours: Specialists, 10 A. M. to 2 P. M. General Public, 2 P. M. to 6 P. M.


Also on Oct. 22, Reklama-92 opens, running through Oct. 28.


Topics of interest: photo, audio and film technology for advertising and commercials.

Hours: Specialists, 10 A. M. to 2 P. M. General Public 2 P. M. to 6 P. M.


On Nov. 10, an international farming show, Farmer-92, will open at VDNKh, Pavilion of domestic production. Open daily Nov. 10 to 19.
