Notorious performance artist Pyotr Pavlensky will undergo psychiatric evaluation at The Serbsky State Scientific Center for Social and Forensic Psychiatry, the Mediazone news website reported on Wednesday. He has been already transferred to the center, his partner Oksana wrote on her Facebook page.

Pavlensky's evaluation is scheduled for the afternoon of Feb. 1, the artist’s lawyer, Dmitry Dinze told the website.

Pavlensky could remain at the hospital for up to three weeks.

On January 27, Pavlensky was due to appear in at a St. Petersburg court on Jan. 27 to face vandalism charges, but the date was postponed for a fourth time as the artist is still in Moscow, where he is facing further vandalism charges for setting the door of the FSB headquarters in Lubyanka alight.
