Drunk Father Drops Baby From 5th-Floor Balcony

A drunken father dropped his 4-month-old baby girl from a fifth-floor balcony at a dormitory in eastern Siberia in a yet-unsolved incident that led to the baby's death, the Investigative Committee said in a statement Monday.

The father, 39, and his wife, 25, were drinking in a dorm room in the town of Sosnovoborsk, Krasnoyarsk region, on Sunday when the girl fell from her father's arms "for a reason that has not yet been established," the statement said. The girl was severely injured and died in a hospital.
