Russian Girl in Coma After Snowplow Buries Her

A ten-year-old girl in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg has been placed in a medically-induced coma after being buried by a snowplow, the RIA Novosti news agency reported Friday, citing an unidentified hospital representative.

On Thursday while cleaning the street, the driver of the snow plow didn't notice the group of children playing and dumped a pile of snow upon the girl.

After being told by the other children what had happened, the driver and witnesses of the incident removed the unconscious girl from the snow-pile.

According to the hospital representative, the girl experienced clinical death while trapped in the snow, RIA Novosti reported.

The condition of the girl remains extremely serious, and she is staying in the intensive care unit, the representative added.
