Taxi Driver Dies in Moscow After Traffic Cops Pull Him Over

A taxi driver in his late 60s collapsed and died after being stopped for a traffic violation in Moscow, the Moskva news agency reported Tuesday, citing a source in law enforcement.

The man was pulled over by traffic police on Ulitsa Garibaldi in southwest Moscow, the report said.

"While the fine was being written out, the man started feeling ill while standing near the police car," Moskva cited the source as saying. "Traffic police officers called an ambulance, but the man died before paramedics arrived."
