Part of Moscow Metro's Purple Line Not Running

Three central stations on the Moscow metro's Purple Line — Pushkinskaya, Kuznetsky Most and Kitai-Gorod — will be closed on Saturday for the tracks to be repaired, the metro said on its website.

The rest of the Purple Line will operate as usual up to those stops, the statement said. Kitai-Gorod's Orange Line section will also be closed but will allow trains to pass through.

The repaired stations will reopen on Sunday at about 5:30 a.m., the statement said, noting that the work is being performed on the weekend so as to affect only a minimal number of passengers.

… we have a small favor to ask.
