Five Killed After Crashing Into Pole on Moscow Highway

Five people were killed when their car ran into a lighting system pole on a highway in the Moscow region early Monday, police said.

Police were looking into the causes of the crash that occurred on the Ural federal highway heading eastward out of the capital, a regional road police spokesperson said, Interfax reported.

One more person was hospitalized with injuries after the crash, the city's Moskva news agency said.
