Summer Weather Returns to Moscow After Wet Spell

Summer returns to Moscow.

After a stretch of cooler weather, temperatures in the capital are set to rise this week, forecasters said Monday.

The regional weather bureau said temperatures in Moscow on Monday would reach between 24-26 degrees Celsius, with the possibility of even warmer weather in the rest of the region, Interfax reported.

The thermometer will rise to between 27-28 C on Tuesday with similar temperatures expected on Wednesday, forecasters added, saying thunderstorms were also a possibility.

Thursday will bring slightly cooler temperatures of between 26-27 C in the capital, forecasters said.
