G20: Putin Meets Business and Union Representatives

Vladimir Putin seated with other heads of state at the meeting with business and labour representatives.

President Vladimir Putin started the second day of the Group of 20 forum Friday by meeting with the representatives of businesses and unions of leading economies, the Kremlin said in a statement on its website Friday.

Putin said an important goal for the governments was to encourage private investment in infrastructure at a time of growing demand for long-term investment.

At the same time, he said projects with attractive profit margins were in short supply.

The Kremlin didn't say which businesses and unions were represented at the meeting.
