Kremlin Closed on Wednesday

The Moscow Kremlin will be closed for tourists Wednesday due to the celebration of Russia Day, Interfax reported, citing a statement from the Federal Guards Service.

The statement said that visitors would not be allowed to visit the territory of the Kremlin except for those visiting the State Armory and Diamond Fund museums.

According to the Federal Guard Service, tourist access to the churches of the Kremlin and a some of it's monuments, including the Ivan the Terrible bell tower will also be limited until June 15.
