Dead Stowaway Found in Plane's Wheel Bay

Aircraft technicians at Vnukovo airport have found a man's body in the wheel bay of a passenger plane that had arrived from Rimini, Italy, a news report said Thursday.

The I Fly airline's plane landed at Vnukovo Airport at around 1 a.m. Thursday, Interfax reported, citing a an airport source.

During a routine inspection ground technicians spotted blood on the aircraft's landing gear. On further inspection, they discovered the stowaway's body in the wheel-bay.

The man was not on the passenger list, because all travelers that checked-in for the flight were accounted for when the plane arrived in Moscow, the source said.

Police are determining the identity of the deceased man.
