Russian Post Website Down After Company's Office Fire

The Russian Post website is temporarily unavailable due to power outages caused by a fire in the building on Varshavskoye Shosse on Monday, the company said in a statement.

Due to the fire, the post's corporate website, www.russianpost.ru, and the tracking system of registered mail has temporarily been shut down.

The enterprise is also temporarily not receiving or issuing money transfers. All other mail operations, including parcel services, are working in normal mode.

The technical glitch should be resolved and the tracking services restored by the end of the day.

On Monday, in a five-story building of the Russian Post at 38 Varshavskoye Shosse, several bags of mail caught on fire. No one was injured.
